I love all things OT. I believe occupational therapy is the greatest profession. We meet people where they are and help them get to where they want to be.

With more than 20 years of experience working in physical medicine and community practice, teaching, coordinating fieldwork and podcasting, I've learned about struggles and how to overcome them.

My favorite thing in the whole world to do is help others thrive.

Heidi MacAlpine is an occupational therapist, educator, business owner (Align OT, PLLC), author, podcaster, yoga therapist, and certified trauma professional. She specializes in pediatrics (30+ yrs.) and community mental health and wellness (9 yrs.). Her most recent collaborations are as a mental health advisor for Listen to Lead Long Island and a wellness provider for Mondays Cancer Care. She has adapted and modified community groups and individual programs to work through barriers, make the impossible possible, and increase participation in everyday activities with various populations and age ranges from infancy to adulthood.
